INFRATANI at International Sharia Economic Festival

This month, our participation in developing the INFRATANI program initiated by the Central Bank of Indonesia. The signing of the collaboration agreement took place at the “Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival” on November 14, 2019.

The program aims to build a Halal Value Chain by digitizing integrated agricultural data, where players from farmers, processors, and buyers can trace the information throughout the chain, therefore everyone can be involved in this ecosystem fairly and transparently. For the pilot project, we collaborate with two Islamic boarding school as our agricultural providers in Ciwidey (West Java) and Bojonegoro (East Java). These schools are certified to execute agricultural activities based on the concept of Halal and Thayyib. The ecosystem is joined by BTPN Syariah, to develop the distribution of Islamic financing for farmers, and Sierad Produce, to assist and purchase corn from farmers.

HARANOVA at Trenggalek Innovation Festival

HARA and Inovator 4.0, an innovation hub that promotes individuals across sectors to collaborate, work together to build HARANOVA, an initiative to manage decentralized agricultural data in Indonesia based on the blockchain technology. This HARANOVA Smart Data Movement will be an alternative solution for overlapped data in Indonesia by inviting all interested parties in making a data-driven decision.

The launch of collaboration was introduced at the Trenggalek Innovation Festival on November 21, 2019. The movement will first be carried out in 14 villages with the expectation that it could become the first region in Indonesia to have integrated agricultural data supported by satellite and real-field data.

Financing Disbursement and piloting the crop protection program

This month, we successfully carried out financing disbursement to over 1,300 farmers with our partner BTPN-Syariah. With our insuretech partner Qoala, we also commenced our crop insurance pilot. The crop insurance protects against harvest failure due to natural disasters such as drought, floods, pests, and diseases.
